Shielding Effect of Ryanodine Receptor Modulator in Rat Model of Autism

نویسندگان

چکیده

Introduction: A neurodevelopmental disorder, autism is typically identified with three primary behavioral consequences, such as social impairment, communication problems, and limited or stereotypical behavior. Because of its co-morbidity lack therapeutic options, a global economic burden. short chain fatty acid, propionic acid formed biologically by the gut microbiome. Propionic levels that are too high can cause leaky intestines, which lead to autism-like symptoms. Methods: To induce autism, male Albino Wistar rats were given (250 mg/kg/po on 21st, 22nd, 23rd postnatal days). Rats also received ryanodine receptor antagonist (Ruthenium red: 3 mg/kg/po; 21st 50th day) see what influence it had acid-induced autism. Anxiety, behavior, repeated behaviors all assessed, well oxidative stress, inflammatory indicators, neuro signaling proteins, blood-brain barrier permeability. Results: Ruthenium red was found counter increases in anxiety, repetitive behavior prefrontal cortex IL-6, TNF-α, TBARS, Evans blue leakage, water content along decreases IL-10, GSH followed hippocampus CREB BDNF levels. Conclusion: Ryanodine antagonists presented neuroprotective effect conditions like modulatory effects neuroinflammation, neuroprotein changes. receptors be further explored depth manage condition.

CX691 as an AMPA receptor positive modulator, improves the learning and memory in a rat model of Alzheimer’s disease

Objective(s): Growing evidence suggests that dysfunction of the glutamatergic system and α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoazolepropionic acid (AMPA) receptors are involved in pathology of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Because AMPA receptors play a key role in plasticity synaptic regulation, positive modulation of these receptors may rescue the cognitive deficits in the AD. The aim of this study was ...
